Your homepage should reflect your go-to-market strategy.🚀

Here are four different types:

➡️ Single Screen Homepage: This template consists of a single screen that displays all the essential information and features of the app. It typically includes a prominent logo or app name, a brief description, key features or categories, and perhaps a call-to-action button to encourage user engagement.

Good example: Spotify

⭐️ Spotify’s mobile app combines elements of the single screen and grid-based homepage templates. The main screen showcases personalized music recommendations and playlists.

➡️ Tabbed Homepage: In this template, the homepage is divided into multiple tabs or sections, each focusing on a specific aspect of the app. For example, you might have tabs for featured content, trending items, categories, or user preferences. Users can swipe between tabs to access different content areas.

Good example: Instagram

⭐️ The bottom navigation bar allows users to switch between tabs like the home feed, explore page, notifications, and user profile.

➡️ Grid-Based Homepage: This template uses a grid layout to display various app elements, such as images, icons, or feature tiles. It provides a compact and structured arrangement of content, allowing users to quickly scan and select the desired feature or category. Grid-based homepages often include a navigation bar or hamburger menu for easy access to other sections of the app.

Good example: Spotify

⭐️ Spotify library section uses a grid layout to categorize saved music, podcasts, and playlists.

➡️ Card-Based Homepage: Card-based layouts are popular for mobile apps as they offer a visually appealing and organized way to present information. Each card represents a specific feature, content item, or category, and users can scroll vertically or horizontally to browse through the cards. Cards can include images, titles, descriptions, and buttons for further actions.

Good example: Pinterest

⭐️ Users see a feed of visually appealing cards representing different pins and topics of interest. Each card contains an image, title, description, and options for saving or exploring more.
